Disneyland is a more realistic space for all the animations such as streets, castles, and parks. People enjoy visiting Disneyland and experiencing their own imaginary spaces. An area that enables the illusion of visitors, that's what Disneyland is.
"Brave New World" is a society where only pleasure exists with the pain gone. Negative words such as anger, strife, and conflict no longer exist, and people live with only pleasure through the drug "Soma."
Disneyland and the wonderful New World have two things in common.
First, both spaces seek pleasure. Disneyland pleasures people by recreating various attractions and areas in animation. "Brave New World" is a place where everyone lives with only pleasure through a drug called "Soma," with no pain.
Second, it is the "utopia" that people want or the space that makes an ideal area possible. There will be no one who wants pain. Everyone wants to feel only happiness in the world they want. In this regard, Disneyland and Brave New World are Utopia, enough space to satisfy people's needs.
The only difference between Disneyland and "Brave New World" is "Is it real?". Disneyland exists in various countries, including the United States, China, and Japan, to meet people's needs. But "Brave New World" is not yet real as the story in the fiction.
But in the future, can we say that a society like "Brave New World" does not exist? A few hundred years from now may come to the era of "Brave New World" or hyperrealism. If such an age arrives, we may have to choose whether to choose freedom or pursue pleasure.
